Made a kickin’ bowl of chili today with 10 oz. of ground turkey, a can of McClintock’s (SLO area great place to eat) Trail Camp Beans, a diced heirloom tomato, a couple tablespoons of Cholula and Bon Temps hot sauce, and lots of salt, pepper, grill seasonings, and some olive oil- all mixed up in a skillet then finished with a diced conventional tomato and a bunch of shredded Tillamook sharp– make that black-wrapped aged special reserve extra sharp–cheddar.
Verdict of guilty as charged of gustatory excellence.
Additionally we had the last couple glasses of chai-seasoned home brewed beer from the Mr. Beer mix that we modified outselves and it paired wonderfully.
