Wow. I changed up the routine on the fly today. I decided to do an ascending set of burpees along with my ascending set of sledging.
The warmup + workout now is:
25 kettebell swings with a 20lb weight
3 1-minute planks (front, side, side)
50 jumping jacks
15 burpees

ascending set of 10-15 reps of sledging alternating from 8lb and 10lb hammers, after every interval doing a set of burpees also ascending from 5-10.
so I do a set of 10 reps of sledging with all the motions then a 5-count of burpees then 11 reps of sledging and a 6-count, then 12 reps and a 7-count, etc.
That’s 15 burpees during warmup + 5 + 6 +7 +8 + 9 + 10 = 60 burpees!
Phew. Very tired. Somehow I finished this in 30:01 despite the extra burpees according to my HRM. I had an average of 149 bpm and a max of 170. YEee-ha! What a way to wind up the week.
