Informally it’s been discussed among some folks to get together a semi-regular/quasi-informal/totally-awesome set of folks together for general exercisin’ over a variety of skills and disciplines: parkour, strength training, grappling, power yoga, and all suggestions welcome.
Seeing as nearly everyone but me is in the San Francisco/Oakland area we should maybe consolidate there, but maybe enough south-bay peeps can make this work.
I’m suggesting June 25 (Saturday) as a good first entry, and I’m suggesting my favorite workout: sledging. I have three hammers, and they’re easily procured at most hardware stores. I can also do a quick kettlebell demo which is the base of another great workout, and maybe some burpees, too, for a totally bodyweight alternative.
Even just an hour will likely completely tire us out. Who’s in?

I’m not sure what the buzz is but I’m still excited for this; time to pick a venue and a time. I think Saturday morning and work up an appetite should be good. Maybe 10:30… just not sure where. Suggestions? An easily reachable park would work; all I can think of is the one on 19th near Taraval.
