Fasting today. Did a descending set of bodyweight from 7 reps. Pretty good, but I think I may need to add something to it. It was a 13 minute workout, but I feel like the intensity could have been higher. I may do sledging next time instead of the sprint.
On another note, I had my first ever cavity filled today. That was at 10AM, and 12 hours later my mouth was a little sore when crunching walnuts. Brush and floss, kids.
Dinner: Butter chicken (julie found a recipe)
breast of chicken cut up stir fried in ghee then moved to a plate
spices cooked in ghee then chicken added back
tomato puree and coconut milk added, cooked through
Added a cut up shallot and jalapeno for texture and heat
Snack:
supplemented with some walnuts
also made my “ghetto poke” with guacamole, salami slices, salt, pepper, and truffle oil
had half (8oz) of a coconut water
Numbers were a bit low today with the fast, but I feel pretty good. Also hardboiled a dozen eggs and turned three of them into scotch eggs for lunch protein. YUM. Gonna be a good week.
