Wherein I ate three breakfasts.
Breakfast (1) at home:
2 eggs
1 strip bacon
1/2 cup blueberries
1/4 avocado
1/4 cup cucumber
Breakfast (2) near where Julie works out (carpooling)
2 eggs
2 turkey breakfast sausage links
1/2 tomato sliced (they gave me extras because I waived hashbrowns and toast)
Lunch at work (home salad)
1.5 cups spinach
1/2 cup arugula
1/2 avocado
2 strips bacon
1 scotch egg (hardboiled egg + 1/4lb ground beef)
truffle oil
Dinner (aka breakfast 3) at Rudy’s Can’t Fail
steak and eggs!
2 (more) eggs over easy
about 5 ounces of steak
steamed veggies (mostly broccoli
7+ veggies and percentages right on in terms of fat, protein, and carbs. A little “over” for calories, but that target is totally arbitrary. I know after lunch I felt pretty full having eaten two breakfasts already, and I remember pointing out that I could probably take dinner lightly… and then I didn’t. I think this shows that even on a lower calorie plan more recently my stomach capacity hasn’t gone down for the primal food I like. I feel like that’s always a concern that my “stomach will shrink” on a diet, but I haven’t ever really felt that. I can still be a bottomless pit when I want to.
