Lunch: Pluto’s steak salad (special trip to santana row)
3 cups spinach
4 oz steak
1/4 cup peppers
1/4 cup cucumbers
1/4 cup broccoli
1/4 cup tomatoes
1/4 cup soybeans
1/4 cup mushrooms
1/4 cup blue cheese
Snack:
hard boiled egg
some prosciutto
Dinner: Armadillo Willys sausage plate
6 oz sausage
1 cups lettuce
0.5 cups tomato
blue cheese dressing
sweet potato fries
beer
Fruits and vegetables: 7 or 8 (do sweet potatoes count?)
Calories: 1998 (another big day)
Carbs: 91 – toeing the line… sweet potato fries did me in
Protein: 113 – good
Further Notes:
Another very high calorie day, but carbs still under 100 though just barely. I have to ratchet down a little bit, and I blame this on two days of eating out for lunch and dinner. Tomorrow, I hope to get all three meals from home (breakfast as usual, then homemade salad for lunch, marinating dinner’s chicken wings tonight) so it should balance out the last couple days.
